  •   I have a cold that has left me with little appetite and almost no strength..It has been a week now and I am starting to SLOWLY feel better.  The sad part of it is that I haven't been able to fire up any of my pits..Hoping that in a day or two I'll be out there cooking.

This is not a message requesting symphony rather one asking how sick do you have to be to keep you away from your beloved pits?

  • I don't have to be very sick to let the pits sick.  If I don't have any appetite it's hard to fix food for myself or anyone else.

  • Sounds more like a flu.  Either way, hope you get to feeling better.

  • I had open heart surgery (5 way bypass) performed 5 weeks ago n just started grilling again (with assistance from wife). Tomorrow I plan on doing my first smoke since surgery (again assistance from wife).  Not going to let this stop me from doing my passion.  My recovery is just like smoking - low n slow.

  • Get well but don’t let her completely take over your pit.  ;D
