What's the reason most people buy a second?

Is it capacity for big cooks, or just an upgrade and you decide to not sell the old unit?

Bought the Blazn Gridiron as my second pellet cooker after doing research on PH, going through the performance tests.

I voted and yes I bought a Traeger.
2000 Traeger BBQ 100
2017 Traeger Timberline 850

I really wanted a Memphis, but out of my price range. I had it down to MAK 1, Blazin GS, and Timberline 850. I needed cold weather performance, and mobility. Sometimes I still read the MAK and Blazin threads and wonder Hmmm, Did I make the right choice? But, I am happy with it. We'll see when the cold Chicago wind blows.

My first pit was a Traeger lil tex. Had it for 5 years, then i was introduced to Smokin Brothers premier 36. The Premier 36 perfoms great.
