Title: Looking for Hamburger Recipe
Post by: triplebq on October 25, 2018, 11:00:43 PM
Anyone have a homemade ground beef recipe they would like to share? I want to purchase different cuts of beef to grind up for hamburgers.

I found this one online that I might try:

2 lb ground boneless chuck
1 lb ground sirloin
½ lb ground bacon
1 tsp each onion powder, garlic powder, dried thyme
2 Tbsp dried shitake powder
¼ c Worcestershire sauce

Try grinding a brisket.  It's often cheaper than hamburger.

Yep. I've played around with mixing brisket with some other cuts like chuck roast and short rib, but I'm pretty much set on 100% brisket. I shoot for about 80/20.
