Hi from IL
« on: April 29, 2018, 12:25:01 PM »

Hi PelletFan:
I have been a longtime "guest"/lurker here, trying to decide on a smoker. Really switched a LOT over the last 9 months or so...The recent review of the Pit Boss Copperhead 5 swayed me enough to get one, so I did. Just got it assembled, and need to get a couple of things before first burn it today. Thanks for the review!
Have cold smoked some cheese, and warm smoked some sea salt before Christmas on the Weber with Amaz-n tray, and it turned out good. I knew that I wanted to do more than that, and would need a smoker (will keep the gasser for grillin').
Anyway, thanks for letting me in, looking forward to learning lots, and hopefully contributing some day.
