  • That looks awesome!  I wish some of the other manufacturers would do something similar.  Would be great if there was a "universal" piece of equipment like that.

  • Still learning my pizza attachment, what have you found the sweet spot temp to be. The temp advocated in the manual that came with it was too high, the base was done long before the topping had chance to cook.
    PS, I read somewhere that the stone would burn baking paper, due to the high heat. Seems to work fine for you.

    I set mine to 375 which after 30ish mins heats the stone to 700 degrees.  I cook thick crust / heavily loaded pizzas so 700 is a perfect temperature.  I use parchment paper and it works great.

    Will be well happy if I get close to turning out Pizza like in your pics

  • I have the pizza oven as well, and absolutely love it!!

    It cooks incredibly fast.

    A couple tips for everyone that owns it -

    If your stone gets dirty, turn the temp up to the max in the instructions (can't remember offhand, think it was 430).  This will get the stone up to a VERY high temp and burn everything off, you'll be left with a very clean stone.

    You need an IR thermometer that will go up to 1000 deg F, many do not go that high, to measure your stone.  I would recommend this one as a very cheap and actually awesome unit, can't beat it for sub $20 - https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00DMI632G/ref=oh_aui_search_detailpage?ie=UTF8&psc=1

  • Good looking pizza!  Does it pick up any smoke flavour or is the temps too high for that?
    I use parchment indoors on a pizza stone at 500° for bread and it works great without any burning.

    I dont think there is much smoke flavor @ those temps especially with only 3-4 minutes of exposure.
