    CALICO BEANS

    Ingredients:
    4-8 ounces bacon, about 5 to 6 thick cut slices
         (a slice of thick cut bacon weighs 1-1 1/8 oz.)
    1 pound lean ground beef
    6oz. Kielbasa
    ½ cup chopped onion
    ¼ cup brown sugar
    2 TBSP Molasses
    1 TBSP. prepared yellow mustard or 1 tsp powered ground mustard (Coleman’s)
    1 TBSP Worcestershire Sauce
    2 cans pork and beans (one 28 oz. can or two 16 oz. cans)
           or two cans (20 oz.) of Campbell’s Baked Beans
    1 can lima beans or baby butter beans, drained
    1 can (light) kidney beans, drained
    1/2 cup ketchup
    1 tsp. salt
    ½ tsp ground pepper
    1 tbsp. apple cider vinegar
    ½ tsp. Liquid smoke

    Fry bacon, drain, set aside.
    Fry ground beef with salt, pepper and chopped onion, drain & set aside
    Brown Kielbasa in renderings.

    Combine finished meats, beans, ketchup, sugars, molasses and remaining ingredients in sprayed pan.
     Cook for 1 hour uncovered at 350 - stiring at half hour.
