Get a separate wireless thermometer. It will be better and able to be used with more than one grill. Maverick, SnSGrills, Fireboard, Thermoworks, etc. There are even several players in the wireless probe market now too, I’m loving my Combustion Inc. setup.
I quit using the onboard meat probes on pellet grills a while ago. It’s nice to have something that tells you if the grill itself has an episode. Until I got the Combustion set, the Fireboard was used just about every cook.
