Introduced to pellet grills when the company I worked for started building pellet stoves & grills (Memphis Grills). I was mostly doing engineering on the pellet stove. I am not a degreed engineer, just been around the block a few times in the metal fabrication biz.  They moved me over to grills and wanted me to help with tech support. Thought if I am going to take calls I better take one home & learn how to use it. The rest is history.

Met Bentley & Kristin at the 2010 Royal when I helped Bob and ITC1 bring Memphis Grills to the event. Kristin did her high place chicken (I think it was 25th or 26th) on the Memphis Pro Island. Was glad to be there to see the team take 3rd.  So glad to have the chance thru Bentley to do chicken in 2012 Royal & ribs at the 2015 Royal. Got lucky and landed at a good table and scored 24th out of 605.

Thanks so much to Bentley & Kristin for all they have done to introduce newbs like me to BBQ.

Welcome Mr. Ribs...You need to get that rib place in the signature baby!  Also, a little bird told me you wanted to be the 1st at something and I am trying to wait patiently, but I got some stuff I wanna put in there too!  Soooooo.....
