Having been in 3 I can remember...1971 Sylmar 6.6...Coalinga 1983, a baby 6.2...and 1994 Northridge 6.7.  To me, to try and adequately describe the feeling as one is going through it seems impossible.  There is no where to go!  Sylmar & Coalinga were the rolling type.  Northridge the jarring kind.  The Northridge quake seemed the longest about 30 seconds, which seemed like an eternity when you are on the 3rd floor.  The interesting thing to me about Northridge (was spending the night at Kristin's Apt for a meeting in LA) was all the dogs around her apt building in So. Pasadena went crazy before it happened.

I did my part of my wife's garden yesterday by adding 12 bags of garden soil to the existing raised beds.  She planted her pole beans seeds and the squash and cucumbers plants yesterday.  She will plant her tomato plants today if it does not rain.  She has a 4' x 9' bed, a 4' diameter bed and a 3' diameter bed.

Had to do a search to see what those firs ones were, quite a selection That Jalamundo looks like something I would like, I am always picking up jalapenos in the store or fruit market  when i see larger ones, then I swing by the sausage section and if i am lucky can find some manager park down stuff.

Lots of unusual heat here off and on over the last 2 weeks.  As high as 89°.  Supposed to rain this weekend.  I rolled the dice and planted the Pasillo Banjo, Guajillo, Jalamundo, Bhut Jolokia (for what reason?) and 1 Mini Sweet Bell (no idea which of the 3 colors).  Tomorrows high is to only be 81°, so should be a great time to finish with the Super Sioux, San Marzano & the Roma VF!

Pmillen forwarded an interesting youtube link about adding a broken up, unpeeled banana, underneath each tomato plant, so will be interested how that goes in a few weeks!

Pictures later!

There is another slight delay.  Keith was not able to get into HQ in Chicago this week.  I will update the site as soon as it ships!

So it is internet driven not Bluetooth?

WiFi or Bluetooth

Seems similar to the MEATER that is now owned by Traeger

$150 for two probes and charger and $50 for additional probes on Amazon

Looks interesting, but I rarely use my Thermoworks products now and don't need something else to sit on a shelf in the garage.
