Also just watched the intro video from the manufacturer and saw 13 lb hopper, claiming 1/2 per hour at 225 degrees.

That hopper is a downside compared to other units, but it would be fine if the consumption is what they say it is.  I would be a little concerned about those pellets starting on fire if you had a grease fire.  Other than that, I have not seen something with so many features and in SS.

For me i don't see the need for a huge hopper. I never fill my hoppers up no matter how long I cook. If they get low just add more. For example if this unit even burned 1 pound of pellets per hour @ 225 you are looking at 13 hours.

I do know some people like to have large hoppers, Rec-Tec comes to mind, but I just don't see the need.

That is where these conversations get interesting.  I moved from a 20 lb hopper to 35.   I probably didn't need it, but it's a really nice to have feature.   13 seems small to me.

With the Twin Eagle, it seems we're back to some folks wanting a super modern looking grilling appliance run by pellets.   I tend to think my natural gas (never fill a propane bottle again) gasser does that grilling just fine.    Twin Eagle would be cumbersome to switch out smoke to grill IMO.  Whereas my pit is smoke to roast ready 100% of the time.

Touch screen on the front center.    Well that will last a few weeks before covered in sauce, drippings etc.

I'm sure I'd be proud to own this Twin Eagle, it's beautiful, but I don't see myself pulling the trigger on this ever.  Ultimately that comes down to not being an all in one cooking appliance guy.  I suspect this could be tempting for the Memphis crowd.

If it performs as well as it looks and as well as it SHOULD, I might be selling the Memphis. I need to see one locally if possible
