Q450 Controller Problem
« on: May 27, 2019, 06:35:53 PM »

OKay Guys and Gals,
My controller went out last year. I replaced it with one from RecTec. It worked up until today. At first I thought it was the RTD? Nope. After cleaning the RTD well, still not working with the RecTec. So for grins I put the old original board back in minus the membrane and switches. It works great. Just have to bridge the switch locations. So I am now working on a new face plate using push Button momentary switches for the grill. I also ordered an RTD from Louisiana grills since theres has the 90* angle in it. The tab looks wrong but I am sure I can make an addon piece that will allow it to mount. Once I verify this I will know how to repair the Q450 Controller problem and RTD. :)

I have ordered me a New RecTec Stampede since I got tired of messing around with the Q450. Oh well, I will sell the Q450 after I get it fully functional again. :)

Did you ever get a new controller on it?
