Just wondering what kind of flavor you get from these? a charcoal flavor and no wood smoke?  They look just like the wood pellets only dark colored and say charcoal. Anybody tried them?

I tried them, no flavor at all. Used them up in my pellet stove.

I remember others complaining about the black color get on their hands.

I bought a few bags of the hickory/charcoal blend ones that lumberjack sold at one point.  Not great, finally just recently finished them off by blending them in a little at a time. 

I did not see any value in them. Additional taste or smoke didn't happen...
