That is a great value piece of equipment and has a small diameter needle that will work for almost anything.  Great presents!

 We have a lot of Thermoworks products, a lot. Our list is minuscule compared to Lew's.

Only 2 Thermapens here, and old yellow one that doesn't work most of the time and an orange MK4. When you have a good instant read you find yourself using it a lot. I usually end up grabbing mine when I need to check a cake as it is closer than  finding a toothpick, double check water temps for the SV.

I love there stuff because it works and has made me a better cook,,,
