I worked on the engineering side of the grills for several years (2010 - 2012).  Thoroughly enjoyed it.  I’m sure the new owners have an excellent customer support department.

I saw they were bringing production back to the US.  That’s good.

The downward slide around the time China became involved in manufacturing was evident to me that the company lost interest & went into a,  just keep it alive mode.

The sell off makes sense now.

We'll have to wait with fingers crossed to see what happens. There is a lot of work to do in reviving the dealer network and customer acceptance.

There is a lot of work to do in reviving the dealer network and customer acceptance.

They may not plan to use the old/existing Memphis dealer network.  From the press release ZCZ posted, "They also are going to transition distribution to their current Alfresco / Artisan distributor network."

Using their Alfresco distributor network doesn't necessarily mean that they'll use their sales network.  The distributors could revive the old Memphis retail outlets, but I suspect that they won't.

If I was a betting man, I would say all they bought was the Name!  Looks like they are trying to sell the "Memphis Elevate" anywhere from $1900-$2300 and just dont want to have people say who is SES or Alfredo grills.

Well it isn't much to look at in the picture. But at close 260 pounds the way it is in the picture it must be larger than it looks.
578 sq in cooking space.

Looks like the same controller they used on the Beale Street.

After 14 years my burn pot assembly has separated from pellet chute and the metal has deteriorated to the point of small holes.  I guess this officially ends my hopes of renovating the Pro.  I knew procrastination would come back and bite me in the...I guess we will see how long me can make it last!

Check with a local sheet metal fabricator.  I’m guessing they could make a fix for you.

In retrospect a lot of pellet grill models and manufacturers have come and gone over the last 24 years since Memphis Grills first came on the scene.  If not mistaken Bentley tested the Pro (that he ended up buying) back in 2010.

Smoke Daddy could probably do it if he doesn't have one in stock already.

I dont think anyone else in the industry has an thing that will duplicate the Memphis type system.

Smoke Daddy has a nice metal fab shop in Northern Illinois.  I was there once when I went to pick up some orange pellets from him.  I know he makes a bunch of different fire pot covers and other things.  It may be worth checking into if you can't find someone local to fab something for you.

I see, you mean they could fabricate it, not have it in stock!  Got it!
