  • After a very long break from pellet smoking (13 years since the first generation Traeger went to the scrap yard), stuck my little toe into the pool with the purchase of a Rec Tec Mini.  Two separate baby back rib cooks and a brined turkey breast, all came out fantastic!  Should have my head examined waiting so long to pellet smoke!  Nice to be a member of this forum, looking forward to lots of good info and advice.

  • This was never a model that seemed to show itself in Central California where I grew up as a kid in the 60's.  Lots of fastbacks, even some 302's...but never the big one...
