What forms of social media do you use? I am on multiple web forums and Facebook groups, but I mainly post on Instagram.
So, what social media outlets do you frequent? Also, feel free to post your usernames.

I refuse social media. No one needs to know that much about what I am up to. This site is it.
-
I belong to several forums. But have never or will never do the SM stuff.

A while back I was banned by facebook for pointing out some of my friends' lack of knowledge on a variety of subjects. I managed to get reinstated by groveling, but now I refuse most friend requests so I don't have to read their idiotic opinions. I'm primarily there to have access to certain manufacturers' promotions and alumni association information. However, I almost always miss friend and family milestone announcements.
I'm also a light Twitter and Instagram user.

I am on Facebook very infrequently now, I used to play a lot of WSOP, but I found War Thunder and that and this site has consumed me. I started a Twitter account right before Pelletheads was closed, and changed it over to Pellet Fan in August...It has like 12 followers, so I will be bigger then La Bron in a few more weeks...That is it!

This topic is always funny to me. The new/future generation is all about social media. Us oldies try to avoid it as much as possible.

Have FB and Twitter but only use for extra entries for contests.
-
fb for family and a few close friends. twitter but find it useless.

Too old and set in my ways to use FB and Twitter. I just don't "get" the fascination with social media.

I'm sure many here will agree about what 'socializing' has become.
I remember party lines. You had a phone on the wall (most homes anyways), and everyone on the block had access to the line it was connected to. You had to wait yer turn if someone else was talking. There was one area code for the entire state. You used to be able to call 'time' and a voice would tell you what time it was. This was a step up from writing letters and the USPS. These were rotary dial phones.
Then came the push button countertop version. If you had one of them, you were boss. Those lasted a long time, and then came the advent of the computer. The rest is pretty much history.
The sad part of it all is this rabbit hole we're going down will be the demise of our country. If you have a teenager with a cell phone (most likely a smart one), you know exactly what I'm talking about should it go down. Todays generation (pick a topic of blame), has little concept of researching anything. They pretty much believe everything, so the louder you scream and the more often you do; it eventually must be true. And the MSM is complicit in that area. MSM, + social media + ignorance/apathy/greed = anarchy. I'll let it go at that.

I remember the party lines as a kid, we had some nosy neighbors who would listen in on your calls. Boy have times changed.

I don't think this is a "young person" thing. Seems to me we have a 70 year old President who lives by this creed.

Point. Set. Match.

I'm in the anti-social media camp too, and I'm proud to say I've never taken a 'selfie'.

Nope - nothing but this forum

I tell friends, I will call you if I need something or call me and leave message and I will call you back.
Then they found out my wife's cell number.... :help:

PF and LinkedIn (for professional purposes). That's it for me.
