Title: New Cabela's Branded Pit Boss

Cabela's has contracted Danson's to manufacture their pellet grills. The new line actually looks pretty nice. Here's some features:

24" and 36" grills
30Lb hopper with pellet dump
New "Ash Cleanout" port underneath
Flame broiler with and external control handle
Glass "see through window" on the lid
Glass "see through window" on the hopper
AND
the Louisiana Grill PID controller with 2 meat probes

Danson's seems to be stepping up their game!

Hi stand, is there a pic somewhere to check out this new design and will it be labeled A PIT BOSS Grill.
My neighbor bought a rather large grill from Cabelas last month and it seems to have a lot of the features you described
in you post.

I never understood glass on smokers/grills.  Unless you're religious about cleaning it will be opaque after a few cooks.

the glass thing is odd, I have only cooked on my pit boss vertical for maybe 8 times, you can still see through it but not that great. It reminds me of the worthless light in my Rec Tec.
