Title: Pork Riblets - 1st attempt
Post by: LowSlowFoShow on September 03, 2017, 08:21:37 PM
I was at Winco on Thursday and they had this 6lb bag of pork riblets for $3... I've cooked plenty of pork ribs but never just the riblets.  I had planned on making them Friday so I marinated them overnight Thursday but then I ran out of time so they went on the grill this afternoon.  I will report back once they are done.

I assume they come from the Spare Rib. So they come from where on the Spare Rib?  Any idea if they are like a cross section of the part we cut off to make the St Louis cut.   I don't know if you ever had a Riblet from Applebee's?  I always wondered where that little piece came from...

As far as I know they are the top of the ribs that are cut off the spare rib to make St Louis cut.  When I've cooked ribs in the past this is what they looked like.
