I'm thinking about ordering it as a retrofit. $99 is a pretty darn good price for their controller.

Post by: Ross77 on June 27, 2018, 05:00:22 PM: Per the owner of the company: They are selling in waves due to tech support. Apparently they get a lot of calls from people needing help connecting to WiFi. So if they sell them all at once they couldnâ€™t handle all the support calls.

Post by: grilltreats on June 27, 2018, 09:25:11 PM: The app will only connect on 2.4ghz. Most phones auto connect on the 5ghz side of the wireless router. I just enabled the guest network on the 2.4ghz wireless side and connect my phone on the guest network. It works great and is very stable, at least with Android. I really like the alarm features. If there is no beeps, all is well with the pit and food is not done yet. Has alarms for each probe.

The stainless controller shelf is fairly new, the 680's had come with a powder coated shelf prior.

Post by: Editit on June 29, 2018, 07:11:52 PM: The Wi-Fi is built into my Bull and it is great. I havenâ€™t messed around much but my WiFi has a xxxx of a time with most things. It connected right up first try. I unplugged the grill and it reconnected with no problem.
