Title: Hello from south LA!

Just joined up. Been digging around for info on the RT Stampede for a while now. Finally got off the pot and ordered one this morning.

I'm not new to burning meat. Started off with a stick burner than built a vertical gasser from an old air compressor. Finally put my big boy pants on and now I'm tec-in'.

Anyways. I'm off to find a good butt...

I lived and worked in Los Angeles for 30 years. When I saw the title of your post, my first thought was "Wow, someone from the area around 81st and Vermont, pretty unusual."  Then I looked at your handle and realized you are probably talking about southern Louisiana!  Welcome.
