Title: Probe Grommet
Post by: JoeGrilling on July 18, 2018, 09:50:32 PM
Does anyone know who makes Traeger's probe grommets for them?  I did some googling and could not find anything close.  The one I am interested in are the ones used on the Texas 34 Elite.  They seem to be a simple silicone grommet with four flaps that close when not in use.

You could give them a call and ask about buying one from them if you can't find one.

They were available from Traeger about a year ago when I had my Lil Tex..They will give you the hole size to drill..I don't like the whole location so I drilled back towards the center so the probe wire wasn't

exposed to the eat between the drip tray and pit body... After drilling the hole, file the rough edges and coat with Canola oil to retard rust. Much better than paint.

Thanks guys.  It looks like Traeger might be the only source.
