Title: My First Brisket
Post by: dlesh04 on August 27, 2018, 04:30:56 PM
My first brisket.  Put it on at 9:30 the night before at 225 and wrapped it at 6:30 the next morning.  Took it out of the Rec Tec around 2:30.  Must say for my wife and i's first brisket it turned out pretty well

That looks delicious!  Man I want that.

Where did you get the butcher paper?  I've been looking for a source that won't break the bank and roll that isn't big enough for 10 lifetimes.

Got the paper from Amazon.  The seasoning was 6 tablespoons of pepper and kosher salt, 1 tablespoon garlic powder, 1 tsp onion, and a tablespoon chili powder
