Can someone explain how to do this? I've spent hours trying to get signed in and have had to create password after password.
I got the check engine light on my car and it appears to be that the gas cap was loose. I bought a 'fixd' device that's 'supposed to diagnose the light but requires an 'app'.
I go to google, enter my password (the latest version) and I get some unreadable text I'm supposed to type in (bot protection?). Sorry, but it's unreadable. And the 'listen here' sounds like someone from mars trying to invade Saturn...
I'm not the sharpest blade in the set, but really?....
Any help?

Bob, your Android device should have an icon for the Android "Play Store". Click on that and search for and download the app from there. You can also "push" an app from the Play Store on a PC, but that might be confusing.

I've gone round and round with this for a week. I go to the google store and it asks for my password. Fine.
Then it wants me to decipher some gibberish that I can't possibly interpret. It looks like a bunch of letters that were tossed in goo with wavy patterns, and I'm supposed to interpret it. That's not happening. >:(
Then I have to start all over again, winding up in the goo... Again!
Is there another way, or do I simply give up?
Thanks bregent, but it doesn't werk.

ask a young kid for help, it's all second nature to them!

If you can't enter the captcha, you won't be able to get in.

with your letter goo, there is a listen function that allows you to hear and then type in the letters.

Bob, what type of Android device are you using?
Are you saying that the Play Store doesn't work or show up on the Phone? I've seen that happen with my son's phone, and the only way we could find to resolve it was to do a factory reset.
