Well there you have it. If it is on the internet it has to be true.
The 1st one I agree with though, for three reasons.
1. I have one
2. I have tried no others.
3. It is a pretty nice little unit.
-
I think they meant advertisement, not article...
-
Well there you have it. From the experts.
Ever notice that all of "The best 5 xxxx" reviews only list products that have affiliate links to Amazon? I guess if Amazon doesn't carry it, it doesn't exist.
-
They got 1 and 3 right! I did not know Cuisinart make a unit...If they only realized how silly they look to us! They would still keep doing it! :pig: How times have changed...I was not even allowed to call on BBQ's Galore when I was working with GMG because they did not fit the "local dealer" model! Did I get hosed on that one!

That is interesting and probably with merit.
I agree with Bentley, never heard of cuisinart and in my opinion they look plenty goofy.
-
They are being made in China and have a "name" attached, that is why the writer looks so silly to anyone who knows pellets. And for "professional" grade, I would probably look to Cookshack! But 98.9% of the population thinks this is gospel!
-
I would be willing to bet the person who wrote the article never cooked on all of those grills and maybe never any of them.
-
Kinda sad! Its like buying a car from a review in some off related magazine!
People just probably buy a pellet smoker / grill where they can get it. They don't grow in trees although I thought Home Depot was carrying some (more) now.
I always suggest to people the Green Mountain Daniel Boone. Never cooked on it but heard good things here and from people who have used it. There is a local dealer around town.
Traeger is at Costco and that is what I saw at Home Depot! They have new ownership with a younger private equity running the show so they will grow. Doesn't mean its good stuff but the name has a reputation.
I wonder if Weber would ever get in to it? I REALLY like their gas grills. For the price I firmly believe there is no better.

Highly doubtful that Cuisinart makes a pellet smoker, looks a lot like a rebadged Traeger...

This article is obviously written by someone who has a very limited knowledge of pellet grills.
For comic effect - just read over the Categories. Yowzah. Who thought those up?
