Title: Virtual Juke Joint Festival

For those of you into blues music, the city of Clarksdale, MS is holding a Virtual Juke Joint Festival today starting at noon Central time in place of the originally planned festival that was cancelled.

I got on for a few minutes. It was pretty cool. I had to get back to cooking so I could not watch for long.

Bar-B-Lew,

When I first connected there was this guy on playing old style blues on an electric guitar on his porch through a small amp.

I am a traditional acoustic blues guitar player. I am looking at following the progression of country blues guitarists when they first moved to electric guitars.

He had it down. When I have more time I hope to pick up my electric and work on trying to get that authentic sound.

It was a good show. I wish I had some time to watch. Thanks for posting.
