Title: Status Update
Post by: jdmessner on June 30, 2020, 12:43:57 AM
This is kind of a bittersweet day as I go about 200 miles north, from Marcellus to Fife Lake, MI. While I am looking forward to the new opportunity, I am also finding it hard to say goodbye to a community I have called home for a number of years.

However, I have learned you don't always want to go with the lowest bidder when it comes to moving companies!

Love it!  Hope there is enough gasoline in the tractor for the full journey.

A little tip, on the down hill, kick it in neutral. Good luck on the move and new opportunities. From seeing some of your neighbor hood cooks they new neighbors are in for a treat.

Thankfully the mower/trailer combo only had to go a few houses down the block. The neighbor made the mistake of saying I will take anything you don't want. After he dropped off the trailer his truck broke down. However, he is one of those guys who will always find a way to make something work!

Good luck in your new community and hopefully your stuff is traveling better than the excess you gave to your neighbor.
