I was taught never to forget this date, so I try not to.

Most are dead who lived through this this day, but we have a 98 year old uncle who served in WWII and is still alive and I always want to remember those who served and sacrificed and their families.

Another reason for me to remember this date is that it is my dads, who spent 4 years fighting in WWII, birthday. I don't remember much about my early days but I do remember the events of December 7, 1941.  :(

I can’t believe the courage of all of the Heroes. Such Valor they possessed.
If you have a chin, it ought to “quiver” on days such as these.

I remember exactly where I was when Roosevelt gave his "infamy" speech. Same with 9/11.
