You can sell bacon grease???  Geez, I've thrown so much of it out when defrosting the freezer.   :pig:

Marcia won't allow me to save or use bacon grease.  I make my stand on larger issues.

I've been using it for a while now.  H-E-B has had it about a year now.  I like to use it on the comal when I heat up tortillas

It would be nice if you wanted a wilted spinach salad and did not have bacon!  What is listed as ingredients?

But see, that is why you are still thin and good looking, so you should be pleased with that.  The alternative is me, and that is not where you want to be... :pig:

Rendered bacon fat and BHA.  I don't know what BHA is.  All the preservative stuff for bacon was listed in parenthesis after it said bacon fat.

We fry very little, but I will try this since it has a 2 year shelf life.

Will wait until fall to order though, since it turns to liquid above 80f.

Someone has modernized grandma's bacon grease pot that used to sit on the counter by the stove.  The otherwise possible discard has been repurposed into $.

What's wrong filtering bacon grease and either freezing or refrigerating it?

I'm neither.  I'm ailing in so many ways that she thinks the health risk is too high.

I have not tried it but have seen it at HyVee when delivering there.
