There's a Facebook Group Pellet Smoker & Grillers' Recipes.  160K members.  A lot of good but VERY green folks.  I doubt it was just me posting about PelletFan but it's inevitable those guys will eventually find us here.

Searwood review maybe?
I hear radio commercials and see TV commercials very often.
Maybe Weber shared the fact that you were going to do an unbiased review.
Either way congratulations

I think it is the Searwood Review to some degree and unfortunately, probably some phishing.  I was running an online radio show blog last year that I only shared the website address with <20 people.  I have almost 15k page views on the blog over 2+ years and 8k were from Singapore that occurred during about a 90-120 day period.  I am fairly certain I got on some phishing expedition by some group.  I hope I am wrong about that on here.

There should be a way to be able to see what countries this site is getting the page hits from.

i can only speak for myself. But the Searwood review has caused me to make more hits.It is nice to see a real review of using the pit unlike the others.

Maybe, I am not sure what phishing gets a guest on this site?  They cant see much other then posts. I would have to be an IT guy as I would have no idea how to do it.  I can go in and look at the guests IP, run that and see where they are from, but I would have no idea how to do that on a large scale.  I looked at 5 random guest IP addresses. NC-VA border, Central Iowa, Netherlands, Central WA and the Czech Republic-Germany border!  A little place called Falkenstein...I wonder if they have good sausage in Falkenstein?

There should be a way to be able to see what countries this site is getting the page hits from.

Might be a question to ask the site host if they have tools you may have access to in order to see location of visitors to the site.

First it is Fantastic you all do a great job of keeping it current. Second it was of the few that covers a lot of subjects for all cooks.  Over the years I have learnt a lot from it
