Title: Grilling Hot Dogs
Post by: ZCZ on July 08, 2024, 01:25:21 PM
What say you on grilling hot dogs/ brats?
Grilled some yesterday for family get together.  An article I read said 250-325 for about 8-10 minutes (4-8 per side) since they are already cooked.  I went 330.  No grill marks of course (or minimal) but they had a great smokey flavor!

I am a 450° guy.  Hot enough for some good grill marks, just a tad of Char!

These were some Philly Style Johnsonville sausages I made on Sunday.  The Weber gasser lid thermometer said it was 400° which means it was probably 25°-50° hotter than that.  When I see the smoke output increase I check them and turn them over.  I don't know how long they were on the grill.  Once the cheese started to leak out of them a bit, I pulled them off the grill.
