Who knew there was one in Fairfax, VA. Was leaving a funeral memorial.
It was a good burger, but I am done with $8.25 burgers! I can make a lot of Cheeseburgers for $8.25, as good or better! 1st one was how it came out of package, 2nd was "fixed".
I am pretty much done with eating out any more...I just get to disappointed. Last time I was not disappointed with eating out was 2 years ago in Cooksville, TN at a Golden Corral! Great Sirloin!

Freddy's is good, but are a poor value, IMO, just like Five Guys. Maybe you could've used Google-Fu to find a mom-and-pop place somewhere that doesn't waste money on franchise fees and fancy packaging. I can still get a double cheeseburger, large fries and a large drink at my favorite local place for under $10!

Believe I just had my last 5 guys yesterday. Hadn't really been heading there, but my favorite Chinese place was closed on a Tuesday. ??? 2 cheese burgers 2 drinks and small fry, $30. Fries were ok, burger was border line cold. Shoulda went on a few more miles and went to my favorite small town burger joint. Gettin ridiculous for sure. We're eaten out less and less.

There is no doubt going out to eat the days can be very expensive

Tacos at our favorite Mexican place are still reasonable at about $3 for your choice of taco and they are big. And tasty, definitely better than I can make. We usually get three tacos and an order of chips and salsa for just a little over $12 for the two of us. That's about the only eating out we do these days. Maybe an occasional Whataburger if our daughter is here but that's rare because that's $30+.

$3.47 for home made and I got twice the beef and twice the cheese! And if I had to guess, much better quality GB!

Better quality beef and probably much more flavor.

Thanks for showing the ticket. I have been thinking about eating there, but I will go to Red Robin's instead when in that area.

I like Freddy's, it isn't the cheapest, but they have mighty fine cheese curds also, and generally when I go out to eat it because making it at home isn't an option. We normally don't eat out all that often, but this past week was fair week and my kids are in 4H and we ended up having meals out at the fair for that, my daughter does Irish dance and this weekend she danced at the Dayton Celtic Festival on Saturday and Sunday, and next weekend is the Dublin Irish Festival and she dances Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Also she made it to the state fair for her 4H sun dress she made so now we go there Tuesday so it is trying to figure out how we can eat as much as we can at home during all that.

8.25 is the low end for a cheeseburger where I am, most are up around the 12 dollar range. That is why I quit eating out a long time ago.
