Post by: Bentley on September 06, 2024, 12:33:47 PM
I know many of my friends have said I am pretty good at spreading xxxx.  But these guys are real Pros.  The fields behind the house.  Hey, another benefit of living the Rural life!  It's better then Biosolids!

There is a wedding this afternoon at the neighbor's vineyard.  Hope the guest all enjoy that earthy, country smell ;D

I was raised around that sort of environment, so it don't bother me none.  Grandpa borrowed a manure spreader from a friend and we would go out in the field and we would gather old cow patties and top off the load with more from the milking barn.  We left the fresh ones alone. :rotf:

That's a way of life here in dairy country. People here like to say "That's the smell of money"

I remember going out in the pastures and flipping some of the drier ones and picking the larva out for fishing bait.

My dad and maternal grandfather owned a feedlot as partners until I was in my early teens.  It was the smell of money to us too.

I went Lowes recently to get some dirt and fertilizer for my wife. I doubled over laughing big time. Being 65 sometimes people think I’m just dying a tragic death. People were so helpful until I that my daddy was turning over in his grave I saw a sack of Black Dirt and growing up on a farm, we could have been millionaires if we’d only thought of putting xxxx in a sack.
