Here are some recent fall foliage photos from Aurora and Bar Harbor Maine. Claire and I were there week ago.
-
Here's a photo from our back yard in WKY a little over a week ago; a the leaves are already gone!!

We did not have a lot of great color around here, too much drought and a pretty warm fall. We did go down to Colonial Williamsburg last week to meet up with some friends and I thought this tree was pretty spectacular.

Claire and I could not believe how beautiful the foliage was on the drive to Maine. In our opinion it was without a doubt Mother Nature at her best

The foliage in NW Arkansas was more brown than colors due to the drought most of the state had.

Very dry here in Eastern PA, but some decent colors. Record low rainfall in October 0.13". We have a fire burning on the Blue Mountains less than 10 miles from my house that has burned 600 acres so far. They think they have it under control now and will need a week or so for it to slowly burn out. Would be nice if we had a nice rain to help the 140+ volunteer firefighters from probably a 25+ mile radius that have been helping manage the fire. So far, no homes have been lost and they expect that to be the case.

Average rain fall for our county in October is 3.34 inch, we got 0.33.
-
We got 1.3 inches Monday night and Tuesday morning. It was the first measurable rainfall San Antonio had since late January is what the weather guessers said. All I know is it was a dry summer.
-
We had fog the other day does that count
-
Every little bit helps!

My wife Sally and I spent last week around the Canadian side of the Niagara Falls. It was our 33rd wedding anniversary. The colors were a bit past their peak, but there was some still hanging on. The weather was perfect, sunny and 70°. I didn't expect that.
Canadian John, you have a beautiful country. It is so nice to drive along the highways and not have them crowded with billboards.
