I have no problem with them. the bigger issues is that some stores have developed their own grades and that some who work in the meat section of big box stores no nothing about the grades of meat,
-
At the H-E-B here they do some strange grading of the meat sometimes but it's in the consumer's favor. It will sure look like Prime to me but be priced as Select or Choice so no one argues the point.

It is a Select grade. I though when I looked at this cross section it was more of a Choice look with that amount of marbling! It was a double sweet deal as it was on the sell quick rack, so I got an additional 25% off regular price. It came out to about $8/lb. You cant get Tri-tip or even Chuck around here for that!

That's a steal for what your prices are there. I have not bought one for a while , but I think chuck are closer to $6/lb here.

I honestly thought high end choice or lower end prime. I always look at choice at Costco and buy anything that looks like that because it looks more like prime.
-
Chuck on sale here is frequently $3.95/lb.

Don't think I have seen that price around me for a couple of years.$5-8 a pound here.
