Title: Birthday Party Ribeye
Post by: ZCZ on October 18, 2017, 08:23:21 PM: Nasturtiums at my sisterâ€™s place in Anchorage. Took this picture a couple years ago. I like bright colors.

Post by: ZCZ on October 18, 2017, 08:30:22 PM: Was up at the cabin this weekend and invited my brother & sister and spouses over for Sunday evening dinner to help celebrate my 64th birthday (the bacon wrapped dates in my other thread were the appetizers). Had picked up two packs of rib eye steaks at Costco a few days earlier.
Canâ€™t beat those luscious rib eye steaks.

Fired up the Select to 550 and went to work. I put them on for 3 minutes then rotate 90 degrees for another 3 minutes.

At this point I add the veggies on the upper rack for the last 5-6 minutes (asparagus in this case)

All plated up with twice baked potatoes, saute'd mushrooms, asparagus and salad

Closeup of the steak. My phone seems to highlight reds, steak was not quite this pink, more medium.

But is sure was soooo goooooood!!
