Do we know how many members we have relative to Pelletheads? It looks as if we have many former Pelletheas here... I am NOT prying into personal business just plain curious..Rather than the actual numbers, a percentage number would be interesting.

Good question. I also wonder how many of the current PF members are former PH members? I would bet high 90% came from PH.

I think PH had something like 25,000 to 26,000 members at the end.  The issue was that most people would join, stay active for one to two years and then just drop off.  I looked back at threads from 2007 and 2008 and saw names of folks who had not posted in years.  Probably had about 200-300 members who were "active" in any one year period.

Kristin is right on the Pellethead numbers, but I think they were somewhat skewed as Larry approved a lot in the 1st couple of years and then just banned them instead of deleting like at the end, so that kind of skewed those numbers.  My guess would be that maybe 4% of that number were active.  And of those 1000 people, maybe 500 were active a couple times a year and 200-300 active once a week!

I would say that 95%+...if not 100% of the Members here were members of Pelletheads.com!

I suppose we could run a poll.  Were you formerly a PH member, Yes or No?

Not every PF member would respond but at after certain number of replies we could consider it a good sample, not a valid random sample, but good.

From what I see a lot of members here were longtime PH members.
