I was considering a front shelf for my Memphis..There is no factory option and due to its configuration, making one would look like a sore thumb. That means NO front shelf for me on this unit.
Cruising the Traeger site, I noticed a tray with one side absent..Unfortunately it isn't metallic..The model is ideal and I will fab a similar one from an aluminum tray..It should serve the purpose, loading and unloading something big and/or heavy onto the
grate..It can be placed on the front edge of the pit and barely on the grate, then the meat or ? , slid right on..All done with two hands..No drips and no spills. Removing small things like bacon,wings etc could be made drip free using this tray.
