Today's cook
« on: February 02, 2018, 05:22:13 PM »

Our local high school has had a group of foreign exchange students in for the last month.  Today was their last day here before returning home, I was asked to smoke a brisket and 4 half loins for them.  I was only able to get a pic of the brisket slices right after they fixed there plates and a pic of one of the loins before it was sliced and shortly after slicing.  These kids put it all away.

Good for you!  Nice job.  Where were the kids from?  Did they ever eat that style of meat before?  What were there thoughts?

The kids were from Mexico and Costa Rica.  They have had very similar products back home.  I would guess the main difference might have been the rubs.  You would have thought they hadn't ate since they have been here.
