Hello from MN
« on: March 02, 2018, 08:18:43 PM »

Hello everyone, living in lovely Minnesota just south of the Twin Cities. My neighbor got me hooked on smoking about a year ago and I started with a MES 30. Just bought my first pellet smoker and went with the Rec Tec RT-680 after much deliberation. Should be here in a couple weeks...cant wait! Its really great to see all the pictures and descriptions from everyone and I am excited to add some of these new methods to my smoking. I am also looking forward to wandering around at one of the MN BBQ competitions this summer to see what that is all about.

Welcome aboard from a former Minnesotan -- now a Nebraskan.

I will need to work on my picture taking skills...normally they look like they were taken by my grand kids!
