I found this on Craigslist in August for $35 and got it from a lovely lady. She said they got it as a gift and used it twice and it had been in the garage. I have no idea when these were made because it is all steel and is very heavy. I'm a sucker for anything with O-Matic in the title and anything that's really shiny, so she had me on both. I've used it three time and really like how well it works. I cut some middle and top round for jerky the first time I used it and it was a little too frozen. I was afraid I'd ruined the blade until I finished putting it back together after cleaning it and realized I had a cut on a finger that I never felt. I was able to cut a three pound pork belly I had cured for bacon with ease and it went through six pounds of deer meat for jerky that was frozen just right in a short amount of time. It comes apart almost completely and I think I could wash the whole thing if I took the motor off. It's small enough to fit in our big farm sink. Here's the Protect-O-Matic!

It's also an Eletr-O-Matic apparently.

I'll post some more pics of it if I get these to work right. I don't want go past the size limit and don't really know what I'm doing since I rarely post pics.
