OK folks, here are the rules for the purchase of tickets for the Pit Boss 5.5 cu. ft Vertical Smoker which is to be member funded, then tested, then distributed to one lucky person.  Tickets will go on sale the morning of Sat., March 17 .


THE RULES

1. Anyone wanting to participate must purchase a ticket.  One ticket costs 10 dollars.
2. There will be a total of 75 tickets sold.
3. Tickets will be sold in the following sequence:
    -- One week of offering one ticket per person.
    -- Thereafter one week of up to two tickets per person.
    -- If needed, 3 tickets per person for a week. So max of 3 tickets per person.
4. Total 3 weeks with layout above.
5. When a ticket is purchased, the member will be given a number which will be their number for the product drawing. If it
     gets to where two tickets are purchased, a second number will be assigned to the second ticket, etc.
6. The date of the product drawing will be announced a few days in advance. Bentley and I will run the drawing.  Neither of us
    nor any family member will purchase a ticket.
7. Any member can buy a ticket, but the unit can only be sent after testing to an address in the contiguous United States.

Once we reach the goal of 75 tickets sold, it's closed.  The Pit Boss 5.5 Vertical Smoker will then be bought and tested with distribution to one subscriber to follow once testing is finished.

If we do not reach 75 tickets in 3 weeks, all ticket monies will be refunded.

On March 17, FMT will post a link to PayPal which will be used for ticket purchases. 

Per FMT:

The easiest way and my preference is that they note their screen name somewhere in the transaction. Most entrants last time figured it out. Some did not.

If they put it in the transaction, there is no need to post here. If they can't figure that out, then posting here is fine.

I get instant notification by email when someone pays, and typically add them to the list almost instantly. If I'm doing something there is a slight delay, but I do everything on my phone. It takes maybe 30 seconds after I'm notified to modify the list to add someone.

OK Folks.  The 75 have been reached and the chance for tickets is closed.

I have placed the order for the Pit Boss 5.5 Vertical Smoker.  It is to be at our Walmart in Culpeper sometime Thursday.  We will update everyone when it arrives.

Not usually anxious for these tests, but I bought some fresh wings the other day and wanted them for tonight's dinner and Bentley said, no, I have to wait to cook them on the Pit Boss.  What a spoil sport!!!

Walmart sent the email that the unit is here.  Will go into town tomorrow and pick it up.
