I have both and do not see a lot of difference, but I think I am goona put the serrated back on as I think it acts more like the granton groves on my 12 inch Forchner knife for slicing, and will release the meats that are slightly sticky like pork bellly!

Thanks! I just purchased a closeout 610 along with the smooth blade. Got them both for a less than 120 bucks. Applied a gift card woo baby, 69 bucks delivered! Looking forward to it.

Mine had a smooth blade on it, never used a slicer with serrated edge. It has cut thru everything I have thrown at it with no issues.
