Do You Have a Favorite Cook Book?

 Every once in a while I'll pull down one of my BBQ cook books looking for ideas and remembering trying  something new that may or may not have worked... My favourite book is," How to Grill" by Steven Raichlen... He also had a show on TV, BBQ University that

was rather interesting, I thought.

 Being an older guy I tend to think books rather than the net.. Perhaps the question may be irrelevant to some of you.

I actually have two favorites, both by Bruce Aidells.

The Complete Sausage Cookbook and The Complete Meat Cookbook.  This guy knows his stuff.

Buxton Hall Book of Smoke and Meatheads book probably tie. I did enjoy the read of of Franklin's book as well.

I use my local library with their extensive collection. Have read literally hundreds of cookbooks. Impossible to pick a favorite. I'm fairly young (40), but still prefer books to the net. They are more specific, organized, and the stories are sometimes worth a read. A few that come to mind from the bbq realm off the top of my head are:

Big Bob Gibson
Big ranch, big city
Churrasco
Latin grilling
Olympia provisions
Weber's greatest hits

big bob gibsons bbq book: chris lilly
smoke and spice: C. and B. Jamison
Paul Kirks Championship BBQ sauces
serious BBQ: adam perry lang
**Wiley's Championship BBQ: Wiley McCrary
The Stubbs BBQ cookbook

I do have one of Raichlen's books around here somewhere, but I'm not sure if I have read it yet. That's the only BBQ related book I have. 
The best cook book I have read is James Peterson's Sauces. Read it over to cover a few times. Paul Prudhomme's first book is my second most favorite. Books from Rytek Kutas and Stanley Marianski stay close to hand!  Great books if your into sausages and smoking them.
Others that I enjoyed are from Escoffier, Larousse Gastronomique , Le Repertoire De La Cuisine and the Joy of cooking.  These are basically reference books.
