FTC Method ?

When looking at meat to FTC does the quality of the cooler make a difference as to what temp to pull the meat?  For example if my brisket feels done at 202 and I put it in a Coleman or a Yeti does it make a difference?

Well, a better cooler will keep food hot or cold longer than a less insulated one. Whether that makes a difference depends on how long you plan to hold. But for reference, a cheap Coleman cooler will keep a large brisket or butts hot enough to serve for at least 5 hours.

One thing I'd mention is if your brisket is done, don't FTC until you let it cool off a bit, especially if you are holding for a long time as it can 'overcook' in there.

That is my dilemma, should I pull it out of the smoker at a lesser temp and put in the "high efficency”cooler?

It won't make a lick of difference.  But for the most brutal conditions a WalMart Igloo cooler will hold temp as well as a Yeti.  There are youtube videos proving this out.  Yeti's are superior if you need to keep food cold for days while camping off the grid or on a boat.  But more frequently they're just an object of conspicuous consumption.  Keeping something cold or hot for a couple hours isn't' remotely a challenge.  Use whichever cooler.
