We tried a new recipe the other day for sharp cheddar cheese pie, and decided to substitute pimento cheese as part of the mix. Turned out delicious enough so we are serving it at our annual New Year's morning breakfast. The ingredients include heavy cream, cream cheese, eggs, and of course a large helping of cheese, in our case, pimento cheese.

Are you wanting to move completely away from eggs, or just the omelet type egg dish?

Stuffed French Toast?

Looking for something different from the typical omlet, ECT.

Getting tired of omelet.  Need to branch out from the typical breakfast.

Grillades and grits with a side of eggs is one of my favorites for a special breakfast or brunch.  Fried chicken breakfast sandwiches also hit the spot.

I realize it's too late to do this for Christmas morning....

my wife makes an OVERNIGHT BRIOCHE CASSEROLE (lots of recipes available online) for christmas morning everey year

we start with a loaf (or two) of Brioche bread,
slice or tear it up,  and leave out for about a day to dry out
then shred it up an put in a casserole dish
mix eggs (6-8 per loaf) with cream (or milk cream mixture) (1 cup per loaf), vanilla, a little salt and sugar (Brioche bread has sugar already)
pour over shreaded bread and place in refrigerator over night

in the morning,  preheat oven to 350-400
mix brown sugar, cinnamin, and butter to make a crumble and sprinkle on top of the egg/bread mixture
cover with foil
place into the oven for 30 -35 min,
remove foil and give it another 10 min to give the top a little crust

my family loves it

I have made something simular to this. I found you can substitute the cream/milk mixture with egg nog and get good results. I guess I should also mention I still make this for others upon request, but it has been a couple of years since I have actually tried it. It doesn't fit into too many diet plans!
