Got the pizza oven (gmg)
« on: October 08, 2017, 09:39:40 PM »

Have been wanting a pizza oven, but really no place on the patio for it.
Well good ol Green Mountain came out with one that fits in my Daniel Boone pellet grill.

Got one, and am impressed. Good materials, fits great and best of all really works!

Fired the grill up to 335 and the pizza oven was at 650.
Got a dough ball from local market, rolled it out added marinara sauce, chicken, yellow pepper, spinach, tomato, and cheese.
Took about 3 min and viola a great pizza.

Me thinks this thing is going to get some use. Already planning the next one.

Highly recommend if you have GMG Daniel Boone or Jim Bowie

That thing is cool. Have you used it much?

It's almost unbelievably well built for the cost and converting from grill to pizza oven is, at most, a 5 minute job, including vacuuming the firepot.

edited to correct typo.

If you don't vacuum out the fire pot, what's more authentic than wood ash on your pizza!
