Spreading Christmas cheer.
« on: December 10, 2021, 05:30:56 AM »

A friend of ours organized a dinner for 20 of us at a little local hamburger joint called Vista in Manhattan. Each of us put in $100.00 for a total of $2,000.00. Everyone ordered their food. The link to the article can be found on “littleapplepost.com, it was truly quite emotional for many there, most especially the employees although their reactions prompted my chin to quiver and a few happy tears. The total bill was $251.20 which left $1,748.80 as a tip to be divided amongst the 7 employees. Glad we were invited and truly made our group possibly happier than the employees.

That is awesome. I am sure it will make a difference in their lives at this time of year, and it seems to have made one in yours, so a win win.

What a great story. I know you made their Christmas a lot happier. These kinds of random acts of kindness are a true blessing. Thank you for sharing.

I saw a Facebook friend post a similar experience.  Sounds like it was a shared, joyful experience.
