I remember the catalogs, but can't see I have ever seen the Christmas book.
But then, I'm 75 and can't remember what I ate for breakfast.  ::)

 I sure as heck remember the wish book.  We always looked forward to receiving one.  That puts you in the oldster class, like me.  Merry Christmas!

Thanks for posting this. I could look at this stuff for hours on end. I am guessing it was in the 1920s that my dad's uncle worked for Sears and Roebuck. It was before they published catalogs with photos and each item had to be drawn by hand. He was an amazing artist. As a kid I remember my dad showing me some of his drawings. I wish some of them were still around.

I remember getting those and going through and circling things I wanted too.  I think it was the JC Penney book.
