Great job, Queball.  Yes, as Quadman suggests, open a restaurant.

Absolutely a thing of beauty!  How was the asparagus cooked?

Scdaf,

That asparagus was steamed and then slathered in melted butter. My other half does not like grilled vegetables. So things like grilled bacon wrapped asparagus doesn't play over here. Would have been nice on this dish to "Cue It" up some more. At best I have to steam to soften, then ice bath to keep the color and then lightly grill for a little char. ..... Happy wife, Happy life. ..... gotta know when to pick your battles. He who runs gets to live to fight again.

Restaurant? ..... No, that is not on my bucket list. ..... What a stretch that would be! .... This was just a "One Off" labor of love to see if it would work. But it's a nice thought.

PZ,

Maybe we can trade for some of your corned beef. Cooking a packer, there should be plenty for everybody!

Sounds like a great deal Queball  ;)

Doing a pastrami packer does leave me with a few vac-pacs for a rainy day
