Sausage and Burgers
« on: April 02, 2023, 03:32:38 PM »

Due to my ineptitude at math calculating how much meat I needed for the Pepperoni/Salami/Summer Sausage I made,
I ended up with an extra of 4 lbs of ground pork and 2 lbs extra of  ground beef.
Not sure what I did wrong as I'm usually very good with math.

So not to waste it, I dusted off the CampChef griddle for first time this year.

In the picture top left is Sweet Mild Italian Sausage, right is Hot Italian Sausage, then a stack of Breakfast Sausage patties, and on bottom left are the burgers.

Cooked them all on the griddle.

The Italian Sausage spices were packages I bought online (Leggs brand)
And the Breakfast Sausage spices were bought online as well. The same one Bentley used.

Bentley, that spice mix was perfect! Sausage patties were outstanding.  Thanks for sharing.

The Italian Sausage will be put in vacuum sealed bags of proper size for a pizza.
Put the some of the Hot Italian Sausage on the pizza I made for lunch.

So I guess my math screw-up turned out OK.
